GUANAJUATO Trip

We just got back from a trip to Guanajuato which is one of the coolest cities I've visited. It is a lot of fun. There is so much to see and do. There is so much history and culture. At one time the city was providing 75% of all the world's silver. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance.

Everything in Mexico is really good. I've had a lot of fun so far. We have been doing a lot of siteseeing and going to school. It's hard to balance both. I feel I'm on vaccation and then I see my books there staring at me. Screaming "Open Me Open me"
I eventually have to open them and make an effort at studying.

Here's the bus.

a '71 bus. It comes complete with curtains and seat covers. It's actually in really good shape. The mechanic who looked at it says the engine has problems but, the 71 is the best year for the bus.

So, we'll probably have to keep it.

This is a great picture that Cristi took. They had a photographer but she seemed like she wasn't getting a lot of the good pics. I think Cristi's pics turned out better.

Dan D. todd's best friend from High school was the best man. It was really good to see him. It was really good to see him I wish I had more time to catch up with him.

Here's a family picture on lake courdeliane (sp?) It really reminded me of McCall, Id. A very nice place. I'll have to go back there when I get more time.

Here's an old picture as Cristi and I moved to AZ. A new state and a new life. Little did we know what the move would hold for us. So much has happened since we moved here.

Dang,

I forgot what it was like to have freetime. Well, not really freetime but, time away from school. Right now Cristi and I are remodeling the house. I've got all the cabinets installed and prep'ed the coutnertops. I'm going to put on granite coutnertops, it should look good. Having to re-do your whole house has made me learn how to become mr. fix-it. I can do just about anything you need on a house. Eletric done it, plumming installed my toilet and sink yesterday, kitchen did that.

We'll, I am going to post some van pics and pics from Todd's wedding.


I've sent off copies of the doc. to a couple other small film festivals i'll keep you updated we'll see what happens.
